Deputy Director, Doctoral Supervisor, Member of the National People's Congress, Member of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (MinGe), and Deputy Chairperson of the Hubei Provincial Committee of MinGe. Born in Yangxin, Hubei Province, in October 1979, he graduated from Huazhong Agricultural University in June 2007 with a Ph.D. in Agricultural Product Processing and Storage Engineering. Since June 2007, he has been working at the Oil Crops Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and was appointed as Deputy Director of the Institute in September 2023. His primary research areas include the processing and nutrition of specialty oil crops. He currently serves as a Post Scientist in the National Specialty Oil Crops Industry Technology System, Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory for Oil Crop Processing under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Secretary-General of the National Innovation Alliance for Healthy Oils and Fats Industry. He has received five scientific and technological awards, including the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the First Prize at provincial and ministerial levels. He holds 28 authorized national invention patents and has published over 150 papers.
